Hi, I'm Farhana.

Hello there! I’m Farhana, Counsellor in Training at IASH.SG.
I am a Psychology graduate, training to be a counsellor. I truly believe that every person deserves to be heard, understood, and given the support required to process and heal. Support, even for the smallest of issues can save a person from snowballing into bigger issues. And when it all seems really dark, some courage and a helping hand can go a long way. I would like to be that hand to go through the healing/self-discovery/personal growth journey with you.

Why Speak With Me?
I am dedicated to creating a space where you feel comfortable and safe, to really feel heard and understood. I do not believe in discrimination, and am open to connect with you, no matter how different or similar we may be.
Therapy is a safe space to reflect and explore the issues that you are facing, big or small. Having a safe and non-judgmental space allows for expressing your emotions and thoughts freely, making it easier to understand and process them.
My Approach
I mainly use Person-centred Therapy (PCT), while integrating Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), as well as Choice Theory and Reality Theory (CTRT), tailoring to your personal needs.
