Hi! My name is Rachel, and I am a Counsellor-in-training at IASH.SG.

 

I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to seek support, and I am here to guide you on your journey towards personal growth and healing. I understand that life can be challenging, and reaching out for help is a significant step in caring for yourself.

Therapy is a space for you to feel heard, supported, and understood. I strive to create an open and compassionate environment where you can feel safe to explore your emotions, thoughts, and life challenges. Whether you're dealing with anxiety, navigating relationship dynamics, or experiencing loss, I am here to walk with you through it all, offering empathy and practical tools to help you achieve balance and well-being.

 

Together, we will explore your unique experiences, identify the underlying causes of your struggles, and develop a tailored approach to move forward. I aim to empower you to reconnect with your inner strengths and use them to create positive change in your life.

 

Why work with me?

I practice counselling through a transtheoretical micro skills framework informed by neuroscience and a deep awareness of multicultural perspectives. I believe in integrating various theories and techniques to create a holistic approach that best supports you. I draw on combining a person-centered approach with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness strategies, where I help individuals build healthier thought patterns and behaviors while working towards their therapeutic goals.

 

I work with individuals from all walks of life, including young adults, youth, and children. Over the years, I have also had the privilege of supporting clients with a wide range of challenges, such as anxiety, relationship difficulties, grief, addiction, emotional regulation, self-discovery, and navigating life's purpose.

 

I am here if you seek support or a space to reflect and gain clarity. Therapy can be a transformative experience that helps you gain insight, build resilience, and embrace the life you want to live. I look forward to connecting with you and supporting you on this journey.
