Hi, I'm Sandhya.

Hello! I’m Sandhya, a mental health professional based in Singapore. I’m available for sessions in-person and online.

We all need a little support sometimes. Life can be messy and overwhelming with so much on our plate. It helps to take a step back and look at things from a different perspective, to have someone hear you out, or to simply have some company along the way.

My Approach
As a trained counsellor, I provide clients with a safe space to explore their thoughts, feelings and experiences. While it may not seem like there is much going on, when we take the time to dig a bit deeper we’re often surprised by what we find.
While I am trained in a number of approaches, I mostly draw on techniques from Cognitive Behaviour Therapy, Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and Solutions-Focused Brief Therapy in my sessions. I'm also trained in trauma modalities.
Having been through my own journey with mental health, I understand how isolating and overwhelming it can be. Through the process of therapy, I want my clients to know that they are not alone and to feel empowered to work through their challenges and create the life they want for themselves.

A Little More About Me
I have over a decade of experience working in people and community development. Outside of counselling, I work with several non-profit organizations dedicated to families, children and youth, and differently-abled communities.

Some things I love - reading, stand-up comedy, hiking, diving, and spending time with family and friends. I’m a terrible cook but remain hopeful.

I provide counselling services in English, and can speak basic Bahasa Indonesia and French. I’m also currently learning Arabic.
