About this session :)
Struggling with Depression is something a lot of people around us don't understand. In this 2 hour session, we'd like to invite you to join us so we can talk more about our mutual experiences with Depression. 𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐭𝐨 𝐞𝐱𝐩𝐞𝐜𝐭: EVERYONE OF US JOING IN HAS EXPERIENCED DEPRESSION. This is a safe space as any can be, so why not join us for an informal, supportive and inclusive chat? As a bit of a heads up, this will be the basic structure for the day: - Very brief Introductions (Name to call you by) - What you hope to get out of this peer support group/what piqued your curiosity? - Going into smaller breakout rooms and sharing your experiences with depression and what kind of feelings it invokes in you. - How has depression impacted you in the past and present? - How do you manage depression when you notice it arising? One thing we hope to get out of this is how we can learn from each other. 𝐈𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐭 𝐧𝐨𝐭𝐞𝐬: - Do try to join by 730pm 🙏 - Bring an open mind and a willing heart to be vulnerable ♥️ please! Again, remember that what we are all striving for is a safe space. A safe space to be heard and to be believed. Because that is how we heal.
